At Holy Family School, we make every effort to keep tuition as low as possible. Increases in tuition and fees have been minimal relative to other Catholic schools in part due to the efforts of our Advancement program. Each year, the Advancement Office holds one major fundraising event/auction. All proceeds from this event help improve technology and programs at the school while adding to our ever-increasing endowment fund. We also hold an annual Tuition Raffle, where we give away one year’s free tuition (see below for details).

We are pleased to inform you that some of the proceeds from last year’s auction helped purchase eight Smart Boards which were installed in classrooms around the school. These interactive whiteboards provide a large area for exploring and manipulating computer material and promote dynamic, inquiry-based learning. Our goal is to have one in every classroom and proceeds from this year’s auction will help us reach this goal.

Tuition Raffle Winner!

Congratulations to Peter and Elizabeth Carver of Rockland, winners of the 2010 Holy Family School Tuition Raffle. Peter and Liz have three students currently at HFS: Maeve, grade 7 and Mairead and Liam, grade 4. They also have a son Sean who graduated from HFS last year.

Holy Family School’s 8th Annual Dinner & Auction featuring Teamwork Trivia was a huge success! In one night we raised $20,000 and we are thrilled to announce that proceeds from the night will go towards installing Smart Boards in some of the classrooms, upgrading our technology equipment and into our ever-growing endowment fund, ensuring Holy Family School will continue to provide a quality, Catholic education for our next generation.

We are forever grateful to everyone who worked so hard to make our first Trivia Night so successful. This sold-out event was a huge success in large part due to the efforts or our committee and all the families who so generously donated their time and made contributions to the auction and class baskets.
