Upcoming Events

  • Thursday, May 1st Kindergarten Liturgy - Grade K families are asked to donate baked goods for the reception. All are welcome to the school hall following the 9:00 liturgy. If you would like to volunteer for set-up or clean-up, please contact Teresa Dow at 781-871-5582.
  • Monday, May 12th 8th Grade Liturgy & May Procession - Both 2nd & 8th grade families are asked to donate baked goods for the reception. If you like to volunteer for set-up or clean-up, please contact Teresa Dow at 781-871-5582. All are welcome to the school hall following the 9:00 liturgy.
  • Book Fair - Our annual spring book fair is just around the corner.  Our theme this year is "Reading Road Trip".  A small sample flyer of the books available for sale will be arriving home shortly.  Be prepared for summer, look for some of the required summer reading titles to be available for sale.  Feel free to join your child in the cafeteria on May 6th and 7th to assist them with their shopping.  Check the school website for assigned dates and times.    Join us for our evening event on Tuesday May 6th from 5:30-7:30 p.m. where you can enjoy some ice cream (compliments of Magoo's), play guessing and coloring games, purchase books and meet some of our new families coming into the school next year.  It is not too late to volunteer.  We would love set up help on Monday May 5th at 3:00.  We can always use help at our very popular evening event on Tuesday May 6th from 5:30-7:30 p.m.  If you are available to help, please contact Anne Kubik at 781-293-3573.
  • Carnival - The end of year is approaching quickly.  The HFSPA sponsors a year end carnival for all students.  The day includes bounce houses, games, fried dough, popsicles, tattoos, and the ever popular autographing of each other's t-shirt.  With your help, each student will receive a carnival t-shirt to be worn the day of the event.  The shirt can be signed by friends and faculty as a remembrance of the year.  The cost of the shirt is covered by sponsorship donations.  For a small donation, you can have your name, your child's name, or a company name printed on the shirt.  Look for the forms to arrive home shortly.   This event requires a tremendous number of volunteers.  Our parent volunteers run the games, fry the dough, pour the water, monitor the bouncies, deliver the popsicles and act as floaters to fill in where needed.  If you are able to help out, please contact Tina Coyne at 781-982-0951.

Lighting Our World

From time to time there are families within our school community who find themselves in need of a helping hand or a show of support.

If you know of a family who could use a hand, please contact Mrs. Manning at the school.

Box Tops for Education

For the last deadline, over $500 was received for the school. Thank you to everyone who participates. Keep clipping and keep submitting!

Neatly clip those General Mills “Box Tops” coupons located on many General Mills products. Please send them to the school in an envelope marked “HFSPA: Karen Ratto”. Each coupon is redeemed for a cash payment to the School. Fun and simple. It is very helpful to her if the coupons are neatly trimmed as she needs to send them that way to General Mills. There will be ongoing collections throughout the year, so keep cutting! As a reminder, this promotion does not include Betty Crocker points or Soup Coupons.
Please be sure to submit General Mills “Box Tops” only, thank you.

Take Charge of Education
Do you have a Target Card or Target VISA? Think about designating Holy Family (ID# 8078) as your school to receive cash rewards. School designation can be done by going to the Target website under “Take charge of Education”, when applying for the card, or speak to a customer service representative in the store. Every time you use your card at the Target store or online at www.target.com, Target will donate the equivalent of 1% of your total purchases to Holy Family School. Every time you use your Target VISA at any location, Target will donate the equivalent of 1/2% of your purchases Holy Family School. Payouts are sent directly to the school twice a year in March and September. For the September 2007 HFS received $180.09. To date, the school has received: $877.42.
