Admission to Holy Family School, Grades 1 - 8

Children entering Grade 1 must be 6 years of age on or before August 31
Non-refundable seat fee of $250.00 per student.
Seat fee will be deducted from tuition.

All applications are considered conditional based on completed application form, interview with students (grades 2-8), conferences with transferring school and review of academic records. All students in grades K-8 are expected to wear the official school uniform. On physical education day, the P.E. uniform may be worn all day. In the event that the sudent does not have the full P.E. uniform, he/she is to come to school in full school uniform.

Girls: Grades 6-8

Burgundy cardigan or pullover embroidered with Holy Family School (sweater is optional)
Flat leather school shoes
Navy knee socks or navy tights, no sheer hose are permitted.
Gray uniform slacks may be worn from Columbus Day (observed) to April vacation with embroidered navy blue polo.

General information: (girls)
• Watch and religious medals may be worn
• No fad hair coloring
• Make up, nail polish, acrylic/press on nails are not allowed
• Jewelry is limited to small earrings, watches, simple crosses or holy medals on narrow silver or gold chains
• Navy (grades 1-5) gray (grades 6-8) uniform dress slacks may be worn Columbus Day (observed) to April vacation
• No cargo pants
• Skirts may be no shorter than 1½ inches above middle of knee
• Polos are to be completely tucked into skirts
• Polos can be long or short sleeve
• Wearing a sweater is optional, but if a sweater is worn, it must be embroidered

Students violating the dress code may be informed to remain home until they are in proper uniform. Parents are responsible for sending their children to school in the correct uniform. The principal is the final determiner as to what is/is not acceptable in terms of clothing, shoe styles, jewelry, haircuts, and styling.
